 Crocheted Brooches and Bracelets l am making for a Christmas Fair. l go to a knitting group on a wednesday in an elderly peoples home and we crochet and knit and sometimes sew, with the residents and as of the community

We mustn't forget the little ones at Christmas, they like handmade items as well. think l will be making a few of these, to use in the bath or even for the shower...

Christmas Gifts

Time of year is upon us when stocking fillers and hand made gifts have to be started for christmas or for the local fairs on at schools
This is one of the things l will be making for family....Adding stuff in a hamper basket as a present

Tortasaurus

A friend was after a warmer for her tortoise and l was asked to make one, from a picture she had seen. Any challange in a storm me!
It didn't prove too difficult and here is the finished item being worn by the tortoise

August News

It is August and we have had some lovely weather last month, lets hope it continues into this month.
Had a lovely break in Anglesey and even thought about buying a property and moving there.
This is where we stayed for our lovely break and managed to get some crocheting and cross stitch done whilst there.

Ninja Turtle

My Grandson Ryley's Raphael Ninja Turtle Jumper....It was taken from a Cross Stitch pattern and then inserted into a plain jumper pattern....He was over the moon with it and now wants a T Rex jumper.

Afghan Blanket in Reds/Creams etc

New Afgahn Blanket using Reds/Orange/Brown/Cream and Mustard
Blanket is made up of alsorts of granny squares and then bound by each section with rows of three trebles in a bunch!

Afghan in shades of Green

Weather still chilly even though the sun is peeping from behind the clouds....Getting more done to my afghan/lap blankets to keep you warm when crafting....Have this one on the go in shades of Green and Brown and another in Reds/Orange/Brown and Cream.

Love doing them in assorted Granny Squares!

2014 a New Year

2014 is upon us and a new year brings new things to do and to learn....Crafting stash has gotten bigger....(Shush don't tell the hubby) and my knowledge of crafting is getting better....
Family was pleased with some of their homemade pressies and have this week rota'd my crafting into days!

Mon - Tues = Knitting
Wed = Project day for knitting/crochet club
Thur - Fri = Crochet
Sat - Sun = Cross Stitching

Hopeing to get lots more done this year....l will keep you posted

Jack Skeleton Beanie

A stocking filler for my daughter...There where times when she was younger these where easy to get, but as she has grown older they are more difficult. This year was relatively easy as l knew she like Jack Skeleton, so l thought what about a beanie hat and gloves:
